Robbins Brothers Street Team Delivers Random Acts Of Romance To Couples In Love

In celebration of Valentine's Day, the engagement ring retailer surprises random couples on the street with romantic and cost-effective ways to say 'I love you'

Los Angeles, CA (PRWEB) January 29, 2009 -- Robbins Brothers (www.robbinsbros.com), World's Biggest Engagement Ring Store® plans to make this Valentine's season more sweet and sexy than ever with the launch of its guerilla marketing campaign, "Random Acts of Romance." The back-to-basics promotion will honor couples in love by reminding them that it's the simple things you do in a relationship that really matter.

The engagement ring retailer will surprise Southern California couples on a date with fun and romantic gestures. Selected couples will receive gifts from Robbins Brothers such as flowers, balloons, gift cards, chocolate and other special treats, including a diamond engagement ring for an interested groom-to-be who's ready to pop the question on the spot!

The Robbins Brothers Street Team dressed in "Random Acts of Romance" tee-shirts will approach various couples in major shopping and nightlife districts who appear to be on a date and are holding hands or sharing a tender moment. Some of the high-traffic Los Angeles areas include The Grove, Americana on Brand, Santa Monica Promenade, Victoria Gardens, Irvine Spectrum and other locations to be announced. The street team will spread romantic cheer during the weekends prior to Valentine's Day (Jan. 30 & 31, Feb. 6 & 7).

Robbins Brothers is collaborating with Panera Bread bakery-cafes to surprise couples. Panera Bread will conduct "Random Acts" in its participating locations in Southern California between January 30 and February 8, offering couples complimentary menu delights. Each couple that receives a "Random Acts" card can enter the $1,000 shopping spree sweepstakes sponsored by Robbins Brothers.

In addition to the ambush offerings, Robbins Brothers will allow participants to share their own personal stories and discover romantic tips online, via the Robbins Brothers Romance Blog, and in-store. A few "Random Acts of Romance" include:

 
  • Bake him a heart-shaped chocolate chip cookie - from scratch!
  • Have a bubble bath and a glass of wine ready for her when she gets home from work.
  • Surprise him at work with his favorite lunch and have a picnic in the park(ing) lot.
  • Propose marriage to your sweetheart on Valentine's Day!
