Orlando, FL (PRWEB) January 30, 2009
Intellectual Baby, LLC recently released its first DVD in a series of 4, designed to teach babies to read, beginning as early as 3 months of age.
With continued cuts being made in education and statistics stating that children struggling to read in the 3rd grade, usually don't catch up, parents need to take steps to assure their child's academic success. This can be done through early education.
"We can not wait on the government to fix the problems with our educational system." Says Krista Guerrero, President of Intellectual Baby. "The United States is currently ranked 18th in its literacy rate. That statistic is alarming. Parents need to take steps to encourage early reading, when the brain is wired to easily learn language."
By introducing babies to the "Monki See Monki Doo" DVD, parents will allow their babies to learn to read 40 words before their first birthday. The DVD contains the elements that babies find entertaining, including music, puppets, children, animals, toys and poetry. All these elements combined keep babies wanting more, and makes learning to read fun.
Babies learn to read through continued exposure to words. This 30 - minute video, designed for babies from 3 months old to 3 years old, has plenty of exposure to the written language, including a slide show that reinforces the words with pictures.
Not all parents feel capable of teaching their baby to read, however, by implementing the use of the DVD and the slide show, it is now available to all parents at the touch of a button.
The company believes that exposure to their "Monki See Monki Doo" program can have a tremendous impact on the future success of its students.
