Internet broadcaster AmericaFree.TV has chosen "Act Normal" as the HD Movie of the Week™ for January 30th -- February 5, 2009.

A documentary, "Act Normal" follows a young Englishman on an arduous journey of spiritual self-discovery that takes him from a Buddhist monastery in England to Thailand, Iceland, and back. It's the true story of Dhammanando, born Robert Edison in Nottingham, England, who spent 16 years as a Buddhist monk before giving up his religious commitments to explore love and sex in the secular world.

Jeff Porro, Head of Content Acquisition for AmericaFree.TV, says: "Act Normal" is an hypnotic tale of faith, temptation and redemption - with a surprising twist. It will appear in this year's Boulder International Film Festival (BIFF), kicking off our new working relationship with BIFF. Serious movie fans will be able to see the best of BIFF on AmericaFree.TV.

Marshall Eubanks, the CEO of AmericaFree.TV said, "with the difficult economy discretionary income is limited and many people will not be able to travel to film festivals. We hope to provide the best of these movies for our audience so that they can enjoy from home for free."
