Diamond Resorts International® (DRI), a global leader in the vacation ownership industry, has hired Shawn Ericson, CHA, PCAM, RRP, as Senior Vice President, Resort Operations, to oversee DRI's North American resort portfolio. Ericson will be instrumental in spearheading DRI's resort operations and its relationships between hospitality management and all of the various home owners associations throughout the continental U.S. and Hawaii, and the Caribbean.

Ericson brings nearly 28 years of operational management experience with major hotel brands including Marriott, Hilton, Ramada and Radisson. He spent nine years with Resort Condominiums International (RCI) in several management positions including Vice President of RCI's Preferred Client Group. For the past ten years, Ericson has been an integral member of Bluegreen Corporation's executive staff where he held the role of Senior Vice President for resort management. "Shawn's experience, organizational discipline and successful relationship management will greatly benefit our company as a whole," says Crawford-Welch. "From corporate oversight to on-site resort management, his role will be instrumental in bringing our objectives and goals for seamless branded hospitality service delivery to fruition."
