Community Gas Partners http://www.communitygaspartners.org (CGP), announced today they have reached an agreement with the Board of Trustees for The Most Worshipful Grand Lodge of WV AF&AM (WV Masons). The agreement between CGP and the WV Masons gives CGP the exclusive right to place, under lease, 100% of all un-leased mineral interests which the WV Masons lay claim to within the State of West Virginia.

The WV Masons have a significant amount of property throughout the State of West Virginia and the majority of this property lies directly in the heart of the most sought-after natural gas formation in the United State - the Marcellus Shale.

A spokesman for Community Gas Partners stated that the WV Masons were still being offered oil and gas leases from $5.00 to $10.00 per acre in areas where the current going minimum per-acre payment is in excess of $100.00. The WV Masons were being bombarded with numerous different offers from various companies on several different tracts of land. Community Gas Partners approached the WV Masons with a consolidation agreement whereby CGP would conduct abstraction and title review on all owned properties and provide to the WV Masons a single, uniform, lease to cover 100% of all unleased properties owned by the WV Masons in the State of West Virginia.

The agreement between CGP and the Board of Trustees for the Most Worshipful Grand Lodge of the State of West Virginia, AF&AM primarily covers the mineral interests and land which has been acquired by The West Virginia Masonic Home. The West Virginia Masonic Home was established pursuant to a resolution of the Most Worshipful Grand Lodge of Ancient Free and Accepted Masons of the state of West Virginia adopted on the 15th day November, 1917. It is located at Parkersburg. For a Mason to utilize the services of the Masonic Home the Mason would donate his property to the Board of Trustees - therefore the Masonic Home has been acquiring property throughout West Virginia since 1917.

Community Gas Partners' leasing program is open to any owner of natural gas rights in West Virginia. More information on CGP can be found at their website at http://www.communitygaspartners.org or by calling them, toll free, at 800-270-3918. They are located in Weston, WV.
