Global corporate intelligence and physical security consulting firm has served the legal, financial and corporate communities for three decades.

As I think about the last 30 years

Interfor, Inc, a corporate intelligence and physical security consulting firm based in New York City, is celebrating its 30th anniversary this year. Interfor was founded in 1979 by Juval Aviv, formerly an officer in the Special Forces unit of the Israeli Army and the Israeli Secret Service (Mossad).

Using contacts and knowledge from his years with the Mossad, Mr. Aviv started Interfor as a boutique corporate intelligence firm with few employees. The company took on high profile cases such as the investigation of the bombing of Flight 103 for Pan American Airlines and grew rapidly.

Interfor is now a leader in the field of asset recovery and global investigative due diligence with offices around the world and is staffed by highly skilled investigators, fraud examiners and security consultants, many of whom have been associated with government, defense, and intelligence agencies worldwide.

Over the years, Interfor has recovered billions of dollars in misappropriated funds and judgments for its clients, which include Fortune 500 companies, major law firms, hedge funds, banks and a number of Western governments.

"As I think about the last 30 years," said Mr. Aviv, commenting on the anniversary, "I'm most proud of the team of people that we have assembled, our work ethic and our devotion to providing our clients with the highest level of actionable intelligence to help them make their most important decisions. And though we face a time of global economic uncertainty we are more excited than ever about the opportunities ahead."
