CPAPtalk.com is now enrolling participants for Product Challenge 8, featuring the DeVilbiss IntelliPAP AutoAdjust and Respironics M Series Auto with A-Flex Machine. Each of these machines are feature packed, high end products.
Volunteers currently treating their Sleep Apnea with the M Series Auto A-Flex can enroll immediately. Applicants will be carefully vetted. Valid Nasal CPAP prescriptions will be required in every case. Thirty of the applicants will be chosen to evaluate a DeVilbiss IntelliPAP AutoAdjust CPAP Machine. After a month long trial period, volunteers will fill out a detailed survey to determine who will be declared the CPAPtalk Product Challenge winner.
Product Challenges provide manufacturers with insight into CPAP user preferences and a public forum for CPAP products where they can distinguish themselves from the competition. Manufacturers can use Product Challenges to draw additional attention to product launches, build their brand image or expand market presence in a new niche. A manufacturer's success in a Product Challenge will provide compelling marketing material for product promotion.
Durable medical equipment providers use Product Challenge results as an objective measurement of product acceptance by CPAP users. Providers use the Product Challenge results in place of or as a supplement to costly in-house testing of products or as part of their own marketing campaigns promoting the best products.
Physicians have a product comparison resource. Patients diagnosed with Sleep Apnea often rely on their physician to recommend quality products and serve as a specialist that will help resolve any issues. With such a wide variety of products available, suggesting the right CPAP products is extremely difficult for doctors. CPAP users and physicians can use the CPAPtalk Product Challenge to determine which masks, machines and accessories will provide the best treatment possible.
CPAPtalk.com will publish the Product Challenge winner along with the detailed evaluations from the participants. CPAPtalk.com is a public forum for those who have and treat Sleep Apnea. It currently has over 37,000 members who have contributed more than 314,000 posts. To see the results from the previous Product Challenge or to enroll in this current Challenge please visit http://www.cpaptalk.com/productchallenge. Results will also be reported to industry publications and winners of Product Challenges will be identified on CPAP.com, the web's most popular CPAP retailer.
