LeagueSafe aids fantasy league commissioners and team owners by managing the process of collecting and securing fantasy league entry fees and automating end-of-season payouts. In January 2009, the Wall Street Journal said, "LeagueSafe is the answer to the prayers of disgruntled commissioners."

"It's an honor to be recognized by industry peers for these awards. LeagueSafe is still in its infancy, and we look forward to expanding the product in forthcoming seasons," said LeagueSafe president Paul Charchian.

The FSTA Innovation award is presented to the company within the fantasy sports industry with the most innovative new product design or technology innovation, and includes any new product, contest, service, feature or technical innovation. The Specialty Products or Services award recognizes the member company with the best combination of service, high quality products, and innovation.

LeagueSafe launched just prior to the fantasy baseball season in March of 2008 and supported leagues in fantasy football, fantasy hockey, and fantasy basketball in 2008. LeagueSafe has expanded its offerings and is currently accepting deposits for the following 2009 fantasy sports seasons: Major League Baseball, Professional Golf Association, NASCAR, American Idol, and the National Football League.
