The Long Island-based architecture firm, JRS Architect P.C., for the fourth consecutive year, has ranked among Interior Design magazine's healthcare giants.

Fees from healthcare projects among the Top 40 firms accounted on average for 46 percent of each healthcare Giant's total fees. Industry wide healthcare design fees rose 20 percent since last year, and fees are expected to rise 6 percent in the coming year, the magazine said. "Understandably, bigger, better, brighter, and newer is the name of the healthcare game." Interior Design said, reporting that the majority (62 percent) of the projects cited in its report were new construction while 38 percent were renovations.
