He earned his B.S from Texas Southern University and received his MBA from Texas Southern University and University of Houston with a concentration in Banking and Finance. John is a member of the Board of Trustees of Huston Tillotson University, and serves on the Board of Directors for the following organizations: Chairman of Trustees: First United Methodist Church and Third Coast Community Development Corporation.
