Promotional products are one of the most effective advertising strategies available today. They not only help people remember brands, but they are also quite often used in daily life, according to a recent study.

Attention business owners and advertising specialists! wants you to know something about the efficacy of your advertising program: if you're using promotional products, they're working. According to a recent study at Georgia Southern University, 71 percent of surveyed business travelers at DFW Airport recalled receiving a promotional product in the last 12 months and nearly 40 percent of them were actually carrying the product with them.

Moreover, more than 76 percent of the surveyed respondents recalled the name of the advertiser on the product that they received. That's compared to only about 53 percent of participants who remembered the name of an advertiser they had seen in a print publication in the last week.

"What we're finding is that about 50 percent of people who receive promotional products take time to study the business that gave them the product," said CEO Amin Rahman. "What's also important to us is that even when consumers don't study the product, about 52 percent of them had a more favorable impression of the advertiser and about half said they were more likely to do business with that advertiser in the future."

Last year, companies spent about $18 billion on promotional products and saw up to 500 percent greater returns from those promotional products than from other traditional media advertising, such as print ads and banner ads. Rahman's company specializes in producing custom-printed mugs, glassware, sports bottles and more to help businesses with their promotional efforts.

More About was founded in 1993 in order to provide custom-printed glassware, plates, custom decals, temporary tattoos, custom ceramic wares, sports bottles, stainless steel drink ware, and more at affordable prices. Since its founding, the company has been producing 40,000 coffee mugs, 15,000 glassware products, and 10,000 travel mugs in their 200,000 square foot facility each day.
