Big Ideas Capture 13 International Davey Awards for hfa

hfa (Hitchcock Fleming & Associates Inc.) has won 13 International Davey Awards for outstanding creativity for such clients as Liquid Nails, The Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company and Therma-Tru Doors.

Akron, Ohio (PRWEB) February 5, 2009 -- hfa (Hitchcock Fleming & Associates Inc.) has won 13 International Davey Awards for outstanding creativity for such clients as Liquid Nails, The Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company and Therma-Tru Doors.

Named for the David who defeated the giant Goliath with a big idea and a little rock, the annual International Davey Awards is the largest and most prestigious awards competition to exclusively honor the achievements of firms that derive their strength from big ideas, rather than hefty budgets. The Davey Awards are sanctioned and judged by the International Academy of the Visual Arts, an invitation-only committee of acclaimed media, advertising and marketing professionals.

hfa won three Gold awards, one each for its Liquid Nails Fine Line ad, Summa Health System Sapphire Ball invitation and Wickes Urban Innovations website.

The Akron-based marketing communications firm also won 10 silver Davey Awards for its work on the PPG Nexa Autocolor™ 2008 Fluid Motion calendar, Torchbearers Akrun & Crawl logo, Goodyear Eagle GT dealer communications brochure, Goodyear Blockbuster/Sizzle video, Therma-Tru weather.com banner ad, Goodyear Blimp pilot banner ad, Goodyear All Tires on Sale banner ad, Liquid Nails Fine Line banner ad, Veritas Inspiration e-mail and the Arthritis Foundation, Northeastern Ohio Chapter Red & White on Thursday Night logo.

The award winning work can be viewed at www.teamhfa.com/PR/2008_Davey_Awards.

"Davey Awards are received not by firms with the biggest budgets but by firms with the biggest thinking," said Nick Betro, vice president/executive creative director at hfa. "Our creative team implements sound, creative ideas that generate successful results for our clients."
