Tonya Evinger signs multi-fight apparel sponsorship agreement with Heavy Knucklez Sportswear. Evinger will be participating in the upcoming "Valentines Eve Massacre" in Fresno, California.

Heavy Knucklez Sportswear, an up-and-coming mixed martial arts apparel company, is proud to announce that they will be co-sponsors for Tonya "Triple Threat" Evinger.

"Tonya is one of the most well-known female MMA fighters in the world," said Will Trawick, Heavy Knucklez Founder. "She is a superb athlete and has a great personality to match." Evinger is a former EliteXC fighter. Her fight against Gina Carano was the first ever nationally televised female fight. In most ranking polls, she is ranked No. 2 in the nation. Currently she is filming a reality show about female fighters; its format is similar to that of The Ultimate Fighter series but it's about women.

"We are very excited about the opportunity to sponsor Tonya at the upcoming 'Valentines Eve Massacre' on February 13, 2009 in Fresno California." The event is being promoted by Wargods and Ken Shamrock Productions. The card will feature Ken "The World's Most Dangerous Man" Shamrock, former EliteXC stars, MMA fighters from Wargods and Ken Shamrock's Lion's Den. This event will also mark the debut of Wargods Female MMA division, the "Wargodesses" featuring Tonya Evinger.

About Tonya Evinger:
Number 2 ranked female MMA fighter in the nation. Evinger was the first ever 3-time wrestling champ in the high school nationals tournament for girls held in Oregon. She later wrestled at the US Nationals and finished as No. 2 in the country. During her senior year she competed overseas in France and Turkey. Evinger accepted a scholarship to wrestle on the women's team at Missouri Valley College and graduated with a degree in Criminal Justice. She made her MMA pro debut in 2006. Her current team affiliation is Team Lion's Den founded by UFC Hall of Famer, Ken Shamrock. Her MMA record is 8-2-0.
