Holy Fire Publishing (http://www.christianpublish.com ) releases The Assurance of God's Presence (Paperback, US$12.95, ISBN# 978-1-60383-120-8). Grover L. Byrdsell encourages believers to seek God's love and direction for their lives.
Grover L. Byrdsell's book, The Assurance of God's Presence, motivates believers to seek God's love and direction for their lives. Byrdsell writes that while people make choices in life, hoping for positive outcomes, as they mature, they learn the value of having a meaningful direction directing their steps. This becomes the basis from which they make life decisions. However, writes Byrdsell, the greatest blessing comes from finding God's direction, which gives the Source of life leading to true life and everlasting joy, given abundantly through Jesus Christ. "When we accept Him, we will begin to see all the confirmation of God's Presence that's in the Word of God," notes Byrdsell.
"We must see Jesus as the personification of God in the flesh, knowing that "all that God is, Jesus is," but we must also remember that God's love will never be totally understood. It is such a blessing to have a great God whom we can serve, and who freely gives His grace and His mighty love to all. To have a God like this is our assurance that we are forever covered in love."--Grover L. Byrdsell
Byrdsell's The Assurance of God's Presence presents the "magnificent process of life [in which] the first choice we should make is to follow a path that leads us straight to Jesus. As we continue on this path we will begin to realize what an excellent choice we have made." In this book, he speaks directly to readers about how to come to God in faith, serve him through the power of the Holy Spirit, and know Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior.
Byrdsell's book is based on his reading of Scripture and on personal experience, one experience in particular. Byrdsell writes, "A few years ago I was driving on a narrow access road when my car went out of control, possibly because my tire was caught in a pothole. I slammed into a tree and suffered a severe head injury that left me in a coma for three days. Doctors weren't sure that I would survive, and I remained in the hospital for a month, relearning to walk, and relearning to do everyday things I'd once taken for granted. Throughout my rehabilitation of one month in the hospital and one month at-home recovery, I felt God there beside me, fighting for me, even when I was unconscious and unable to fight for myself. I have always had a strong faith in God, but I emerged from that trauma more convinced than ever that God watches over me and wants the best for me, every moment of my life. Borrowing a thought from the Apostle Paul: The discomfort and difficulty of that time seemed like nothing compared to the joy I felt knowing I was in the presence of God.
Grover L. Byrdsell is, 59, lives in the Atlanta area with his wife Sharon. Byrdsell desires to encourage readers to seek God's love, to challenge them in spiritual matters, and to point those seeking a greater meaning in life to Jesus. He hopes readers will know that life's greatest meaning comes only through a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. Byrdsell's other book is Something For The Heart. He is available for speaking engagements and book signings.
