Early childhood experts join forces to inform parents of best practices

Today the BAM Radio Network (BRN), a joint project of Moving & Learning and Jackstreet Media, announced the launch of Dr. Toy Radio, a new resource for parents visiting the Dr. Toy web site (http://www.drtoy.com), an award-winning guide that provides timely and professional advice to parents on the best in toys and educational products. Dr. Toy Radio will expand the scope of advice available to parents who rely on the guide as a trusted resource. Dr. Toy Radio will nanocast BRN's premier program, "Body, Mind and Child" (http://www.bodymindandchild.com), hosted by Rae Pica, a 30-year veteran in the field of early childhood education. The program offers insightful discussions with the nation's leading child development experts on issues parents and teachers care about most.

"Dr. Auerbach, aka Dr. Toy, is well known and respected in the early childhood field," said Pica. "I'm thrilled that Body, Mind and Child will be a part of the wealth of information available to parents at her web site."

"BAM's lively discussion helps listeners to gain new information in a timely and well proven way," said Stevanne Auerbach. "I hope parents will listen and learn with Rae Pica and her guests on Dr. Toy Radio."

About BAM Radio Network:
The BAM Radio Network was launched to address the severe imbalance in parenting practices caused by the "commercialization of parenting" and the emphasis on intellectual development that excludes the critical role of the mind/body connection in early childhood. Created by leading early childhood experts, the programming challenges the popular genre of parenting notions that has given rise to commercial products like Baby Einstein, Brainy Baby and lapware, all of which claim to accelerate a child's mental development in the face of science that suggests otherwise. The network is a joint venture between New Hampshire-based Moving & Learning and Los Angeles-based Jackstreet Media Ventures LLC. The program is produced by Emmy Award-winning broadcaster Errol Smith and distributed through the Affiliate Nanocasting Network.
