Three winners will have their books published marketed and promoted. The Grand Prize winner will have the their book read by top literary agent, Loretta Barrett and Tor/Forge Books editor, Eric Rabb. Ten Finalists will have the opportunity to work with acclaimed best-selling author, Jon Land, to improve their manuscripts.

Wordclay, (http://www.wordclay.com) in association with its partner at Publishing Room are launching WritingRoom.com's 2009 Author's Choice Writing contest. Authors who submit their manuscripts to http://www.writingroom.com or http://www.publishingroom.com will have them judged by a three-expert panel for the chance to win free marketing and promotional services. The awards include:

  •     The grand prize winner will have his or her book read and considered by top New York literary agent Loretta Barrett and considered for publication by Editor Eric Raab of Tor/Forge Books.
  •     The top three finishers will have their manuscripts published, marketed and promoted.
  •     Each author judged in the top ten among submissions will receive manuscript improvement assistance from acclaimed bestselling author Jon Land--panel member and author of The Seven Sins, one of Library Journal's Top Five Thrillers of 2008.
