These pieces of jewelry incorporate a lot of southwest materials, but you can wear them with just about anything
San Antonio, TX (PRWEB) February 11, 2009
SouthwestTerritories.com, an online business specializing in handmade southwestern jewelry, has recently celebrated their one-year anniversary. Marking the site's milestone, they have also recently announced the debut of a company blog at http://www.HandcraftedJewelryBlog.com.
Launched in January 2008, site founder and operator Anna-Maria Barfoot first became involved in handcrafted jewelry a decade ago.
"Handcrafted jewelry started out as a hobby for me," said Barfoot. "Over the years, I've learned a lot about jewelry materials like silver and turquoise, and I've taken that knowledge and put it directly into the site."
Built around the idea of quality products and unique designs, the site only features handmade necklaces, bracelets, earrings, and rings made by experienced artisans.
"Everything we feature on the site is handmade, and every stone is handpicked," said Barfoot. "We feature many different artisans on the site, but quality is always our number one priority. No matter who we feature, we always ensure the best craftsmanship from the best materials."
Emphasizing the diversity of the products on her site, Barfoot is quick to point out that the turquoise, silver, and coral pieces on her site are not exclusively southwest designs.
"These pieces of jewelry incorporate a lot of southwest materials, but you can wear them with just about anything," said Barfoot. "They're elegant and beautiful pieces that can be worn to parties, galas, or just out on the town. From New York to California, these pieces represent the best in fashion."
Celebrating the one-year anniversary of the site, SouthwestTerritories.com has marked the occasion with the December debut of their company blog, HandcraftedJewelryBlog.com.
"The blog will be a great place for customers to learn more generally about southwest jewelry," said Barfoot. "From Native American jewelry to discussions over traditional versus modern styles, this new blog is sure to have something for everyone."
