iPEC Coaching (http://www.iPECcoaching.com), the world leader in accredited coach training certification, recently appointed Michelle Kunz to lead the growth and expansion of the company's institute for Life Coach and Corporate Coach training in the DC Metro Area.
This appointment and the growth of the DC Metro location is in recognition of the extraordinary growth of the coaching marketplace. Professionals and former executives who have been faced with downsizing, preparing for retirement, or who are just burning out on business as usual are moving into the coaching marketplace - a profession where life and corporate coaches average $77,000* and $134,000* per year, respectively. Recent graduates of the iPEC program are stating they wished they had made the switch to coaching many years sooner.
During her 15 years working with non-profits and private corporations, Kunz has led and facilitated a wide variety of teams. She brings a fresh and innovative approach to corporate teamwork drawing on her Doctorate in Vocal Performance from The Catholic University of America. This experience has greatly contributed to her continued success as an accomplished certified professional coach whose straightforward, non-judgmental approach supports clients as they develop leadership and life skills, and reach and sustain their goals.
"Michelle Kunz is an excellent match for the type of person we wanted representing iPEC in the DC region," says Bruce D Schneider, PhD, iPEC Founder and CEO, and Master Certified Coach. "She is an extremely energetic individual with excellent coaching knowledge, a strong background in communications, and a genuine approach that matches our corporate philosophy of standing in service to others."
The selection of Kunz to lead iPEC's local operations reflects the growth in demand for life and corporate coach training in America and particularly within the Washington, DC market. "Our institute continues to expand rapidly, along with the coaching industry overall and growing demand within the Mid-Atlantic region," reflects Dr. Schneider. "There are many new initiatives and offerings that we're in the process of developing and that will be rolled out over the next six months."
Kunz looks forward to the challenge of overseeing the growth of the institute and its services. "iPEC is committed to ongoing growth as a leader in the profession of coaching," says Kunz, "which makes this a very exciting time to be a part of iPEC and to play an instrumental role in driving operations to meet the needs of the individuals and organizations in the DC Metro area and throughout our region."
As part of her new role, Kunz works on coordinating live coaching workshops, presentations and events for individuals and large companies, as well as leading iPEC training classes during its regular semesters. Individuals, companies or groups interested in learning more about coaching, including its benefits to both businesses and individuals, can contact Kunz at iPEC to schedule a one-on-one presentation.
