Wyeth Honors Budco as Supplier of the Year

Wyeth, the worldwide pharmaceutical and health care products company, has presented Budco the 2008 Supplier of the Year Award. Recognizing the value brought to Wyeth's Promotion Production and Distribution department, the citation reads: "Whether delivering promotional materials to the field, tackling difficult issues with a can-do attitude, or assisting in the development and implementation of new product offerings, they exemplify our core values of Quality, Integrity, Collaboration, Leadership, and Respect for People. Budco has redefined the term strategic partner."

In announcing the award, Doris Bradley, Manager, Promotion Production and Distribution for Wyeth Pharmaceuticals, noted, "Budco, our newest supplier, managed in one year to be recognized in this category, which in itself is remarkable. They have proven their value to Wyeth by executing on their core business, assisting in the design and implementation of several key projects. Please join me in congratulating Budco for a job well done."

Speaking on behalf of Budco, the Detroit-area fulfillment, direct and database marketing, and marketing analytics company, President Terry Niles responded, "We are honored, humbled, and obviously very pleased to receive such high praise and recognition from Wyeth. We work very hard at delivering outstanding products and services to all our customers. So it's gratifying to know that our efforts are paying off, especially in the pharmaceutical sector, which is an essential and growing part of our business focus."

Among the criteria used by Wyeth in determining the Supplier of the Year Award are openness of communication, high-level customer service, day-to-day responsiveness, knowledge of Wyeth needs and priorities, capacity to innovate, and interaction with Wyeth around core values. Budco handles a number of assignments for Wyeth, involving services such as online ordering of marketing materials by sales representatives, warehousing and fulfillment of promotional items, and customized digital print-on-demand.
