Tate Music Group Contest Open For Voting

Today marks the beginning of online voting for this years artist of the year. The Tate Music Group Artist of the Year receives a prize package that is larger than the organizers could have ever imagined.

This years finalist are some of the best artist the music industry has and we are very excited to see the winner succeed and accomplish all of their dreams.

Tate Music Group is proud to announce that the online voting for the annual Artist of the Year contest has begun. The field has been narrowed down to ten finalist from all genres of music. Director of Marketing, Mark Mingle stated, "This years finalist are some of the best artist the music industry has and we are very excited to see the winner succeed and accomplish all of their dreams."

Music artists from all over the world entered the Tate Music Group contest in hopes of becoming the winner at the annual showcase. This years winners will receive over $20,000 in cash and prizes. In addition to the cash prize, the winner will receive production of their album, nationwide distribution, media blitzes, music videos and much more. Perhaps the greatest opportunity for the winner is that Tate Music Group will showcase the winner at several industry trade shows directly in front of the music industries largest buyers.

Online voting for the ten finalist started on February 10, 2009 and will run for one week until 5PM CST on Tuesday, February 17th. Everyone is encouraged to log on to http://www.tatemusicgroup.com and vote for their favorite act. The top five finisher will be flown out to Oklahoma City to perform live before a celebrity panel of judges that range from industry professionals from Universal to Miss America.

The five finalist will be performing live on March 13th from the Kerr McGee building in downtown OKC and the entire 2 hour show will be broadcast live via the Internet at http://www.tatemusicgroup.com.
