Dublin, Ireland (PRWEB) February 13, 2009
Card Player Media today launches its latest international magazine Card Player Nederland into the Dutch market. Over 6,000 copies of the magazine, which carries news, features, tournament reports, and strategy content, go on sale at newsstands across Holland today while the website CardPlayerNederland.nl will be launched shortly.
Internationally renowned names such as Phil Hellmuth and Todd Brunson will appear monthly in the magazine while poker legends Doyle Brunson and Daniel Negreanu will blog regularly at the website. The website will also include Card Player TV and global and European player rankings and tournament results.
Regular local contributors include long-time Card Player associates Anthon-Pieter Wink -- who will edit the magazine -- and Peter Dalhuijsen, while Julien Nuijten provides strategy focus and Martijn Adam provides commentary on the Dutch, European, and global poker scenes. The first issue of Card Player Nederland features an interview with the winner of the recent Belgium Poker Championship Sijbrand Maal.
"We want to publish a magazine and website for the true Dutch poker player," said Wink. "With solid strategic advice from our high stakes grinders our goal is to help our readers beat their home games in no time. And at the same time, we want to provide some lighter articles and features by well know local writers.
"The Dutch market has never seen a magazine with these big names writing for them, let alone a magazine with over twenty years experience in the business. I am very proud to present Card Player Nederland."
