Metal finisher adds large aluminum anodizing capacity to their electroplating, anodizing, and electropolishing plant.

The project has been in the works for some time now and even though the economy is weakening, our customer base remains strong.

Team Metal Finishing announced the completion of their new 16' long, 27 station aluminum anodizing line. Company CEO, Dan Weaver said, "The project has been in the works for some time now and even though the economy is weakening, our customer base remains strong."

The company electroplates metals such as gold, silver, nickel, and tin on a variety of components for industries such as food manufacturing equipment, defense, electronics, motion control, consumer goods, automotive and many others. The new anodizing line will be one of the largest of its type in the Southeast.

TMF recently celebrated its 20th Anniversary and currently employs 65 people in its 65,000 square foot facility and expects to add 12 more employees when the new line is fully staffed. The firm is located in NE Georgia midway between Atlanta and Greenville, SC near Interstate 85. It received the Georgia Small Manufacturer of the Year Award in 2001, ISO certification in 2003 and is scheduled to complets NADCAP registration this year.
