Honoree will be recognized during ERA's eRetailer Summit.

Electronic Retailer magazine will reveal its selection for the 2008 Direct-to-Consumer Marketer of the Year during the eRetailer Summit, held March 1-3, at the InterContinental Hotel in Miami, Fla. Once again, the publication and its staff will recognize a company for its outstanding achievements in multichannel marketing.

Last year, Electronic Retailer named Gaiam Inc. as its first honoree. The company was selected for its innovative use of multiple channels including DRTV, catalog and e-commerce.

This year's recipient is a 122-year-old iconic brand that had a long history of being a purely offline business. Today, however, this company is now a true leader in multichannel marketing, leveraging a wide variety of online platforms and Web 2.0 tools to grow revenue, engage sales representatives and optimize the customer experience.

On Tuesday, March 3, Electronic Retailer will present the honoree with a special award during a luncheon at 11:00 a.m. in the Chopin Ballroom. In addition, the 2008 D2C Marketer of the Year will be prominently featured on the cover of Electronic Retailer's March issue.
