Northeast Indiana Regional Partnership Releases 'Success Stories'

The Northeast Indiana Regional Partnership has launched a "Success Stories" campaign, complete with a printed and online copy of their Success Stories booklet. This campaign highlights 11 stories from the region's 11 counties. The "Success Stories" books were distributed to site selectors nation-wide along with a sampling of products made in northeast Indiana.

A collaborative effort between the Northeast Indiana Regional Partnership, One Lucky Guitar Inc, and the region’s economic partners has resulted in an in-depth initiative to highlight a sampling of the businesses who leveraged local assets to establish their success. Success has found its home and the Partnership is spreading the word through its recently released “Success Stories” project.

The Regional Partnership, along with local economic development representatives from northeast Indiana’s counties: Adams, Allen, DeKalb, Grant, Huntington, Lagrange, Noble, Steuben, Wabash, Wells and Whitley; and 11 regional companies: Mind’s Eye Graphics, Sweetwater, Ashley Industrial Molding (AIM), Veriana Networks, American Specialty, The Blue Gate Restaurant, Millennium Industries, C&K Tool, Living Essentials, Alexin LLC, and Ultra Electronics—USSI, joined forces for the “Success Stories” initiative.

Now available for download on the Regional Partnership website, “Success Stories” features all of the region’s 11 counties with 11 stories outlining northeast Indiana’s history of continued successes. Personal testimonies from several of the region’s companies identify the assets attributed to their successes in northeast Indiana. The printed version of this book is being distributed to site selectors around the country and tells the story of northeast Indiana through the successes of our thriving businesses. In its first round of circulation, a box of regionally-made products accompanied the mailing and featured locally made cookies, travel wallets and energy drinks. Included along with the book and product package was workforce and business development information further highlighting the resources that northeast Indiana has to offer to new and expanding businesses.

“Success Stories” has already received a positive response from national site selectors. One site selector emphasized in a thank you letter, that “If there is ever anything that I can assist you with please let me know and I will continue to keep your region on my radar.”

Fifty site selectors in 18 states have already received the “Success Stories” book. In April, more site selectors will be touched by the “Success Stories” campaign with a second wave of mailings distributed by the Regional Partnership. The success of this campaign is a testament to the quality business environment northeast Indiana provides and the impact that the region is producing nation-wide. About the Northeast Indiana Regional Partnership: Created in 2006, the Northeast Indiana Regional Partnership's mission is to market the 11-county region and team with local economic development organizations (LEDOs) to bring new jobs and commercial investment to the area. The Partnership concluded a successful Investment campaign in October of 2006 targeting an initial operating period of five years. The RP's global marketing efforts will be on behalf of LEDO's in Adams, Allen, DeKalb, Grant, Huntington, LaGrange, Noble, Steuben, Wabash, Wells and Whitley counties.
