Having suffered with breast cancer, founder of Much Loved People, Viviane Morris, undertook her first Charity Sponsored trek in October 2007 for a UK Breast Cancer Charity. She faced fund raising for the very first time and found it daunting to ask friends, family and colleagues for sponsorship money.

Says Morris "Charities spend enormous amounts recruiting individuals to undertake fund raising activities to raise money for them. These charities have a whole captive market - each fund raiser's contacts - and they do not focus on maximising those contacts, or the amounts of money they donate. We aim to make the whole experience easier for the fund raiser, more engaging for their sponsors and financially beneficial for the Charity!"

No more Hotmail emails for fund raising, each Charity will have its own branded online selection of iCards that fund raisers can send to all their prospective sponsors. The Charity will have numerous opportunities to capture contact information and ask these contacts to opt in to other services offered by them.

Each Fund Raiser can create an online book of their training, challenge, ball, event or occasion. These can be sent, attached to emails, at varying points during the fund raising exercise to validate the fund raiser's effort and to ask for additional, and ongoing, sponsorship - engaging sponsors in this way makes them feel part of the process and more inclined to donate. It also gives each fund raiser a reason to return more than once to the same benefactors without embarrassment!

Giving Heart is their In Celebration Giving solution and authenticates donations made in lieu of gifts. Guests fumbling for loose change to put in the bucket by the door will be a thing of the past - now donations can be made on line with a dedicated charity branded message back to the individual or individuals having the celebration.
