Dieffenbach Joins Mile 9 as Chief Creative Officer, Partner; Agency's Creative Vibe Pulses with Trifecta of Expertise

Mile 9 announced today that former FOX vice president, Dan Dieffenbach, has joined the agency as chief creative officer (CCO) and managing partner. As CCO, Dieffenbach's responsibilities will include campaign management, business development and overall creative strategy for Mile 9 clients.

Dieffenbach arrives at Mile 9 with a unique trifecta of expertise in the creative arena having had career stints in journalism, broadcast and corporate settings. The nearly 20-year veteran launched his career in the 1990s as a writer at SPORT magazine and steadily rose through the ranks to the publication's top position for it's 50th Anniversary issue. Following his tenure at SPORT, Dieffenbach received his "Ph.D. in marketing" during a three-year stint at Nike as marketing manager in the cross-training division where he worked on campaigns such as NCAA Final Four and Brand Jordan. For the past five years, Dieffenbach led the creative charge for both the network FOX Sports and the cable division of FSN on the studio lot. His duties included writing and directing award-winning commercials and leading high-profile campaigns for NASCAR, the NFL on FOX and the 18 regional sports networks promoting the NBA, MLB and the NHL. Bolstering his rare entrepreneurial perspective, Dieffenbach also has experience acting, writing and producing feature films.

A native of Seattle, Dieffenbach is a graduate of Eastern Washington University where he played Division I basketball.
