Kitagawa-NorthTech has recently received ISO 9001-2000 certification. This certification is recognition of Kitagawa's commitment to quality and customer service.

Kitagawa-NorthTech has recently received ISO 9001-2000 certification. "This certification is recognition of our commitment to quality and customer service," stated Kitagawa vice-president Shawn Luchesi. ISO 9001 requires that appropriate quality activities be defined, that
processes be documented, and that proof be supplied that the company
consistently adheres to both. Some of the requirements in ISO 9001 include:

  • Monitoring processes to ensure they are effective;

  • Keeping adequate records;
  •     
  • Checking output for defects, with appropriate and corrective action where necessary;
