The 2009 Upper Midwest Foodservice & Lodging Show will feature conference sessions geared to help the hospitality industry meet the challenge of today's economy. The show runs February 23-24, at the Minneapolis Convention Center.

Attendees to the 2009 Upper Midwest Foodservice & Lodging Show ( can choose from a resourceful lineup of professional conference speakers who will deliver smart, money-saving solutions to help hospitality businesses thrive in today's economic conditions.

The largest hospitality industry event to be held in Minnesota opens its doors on February. 23 and 24, 2009 at the Minneapolis Convention Center and gets directly to the point with keynote speaker, Paul Maccabee of Maccabee Public Relations ( who will discuss, "Turbocharging Your Marketing During a Time of Recession."

"This year's show will combine money-saving business ideas and solutions; the latest in new products and service offerings, culinary demonstrations; a great social function, an entertainment stage and seminars of incalculable value," states, David Siegel, President and CEO of Hospitality Minnesota (, the show's presenter. Lou Del Monte, President of TMA E-Marketing ( whose topic, "Using Internet Marketing to Increase Beverage Sales", is key to attracting new business in today's tough economy. Tuesday's keynote speaker, Joe Senser, of Senser's Sports Bar & Grill (, will present, "Using Your Strengths and Gifts in the Restaurant Industry." Joe is also known for his outstanding play as a Minnesota Viking from 1980 - 1984. He understands the principles of hard work, dedication, competitiveness and team building.
