Artichoke Design LLC, a landscape architecture company located in the Philadelphia area, has obtained certification as a Woman Business Enterprise (WBE) by the Pennsylvania Department of General Services.

Artichoke Design, LLC is a landscape architecture company involved in the analysis, planning and design of residential, commercial and municipal projects. Under the guidance of founder Kirsten Forbes Puskar, a licensed landscape architect with 20 years of experience, the firm has primarily served high-end residential and commercial clients.

WBE certification enables the firm to readily pursue public projects either independently or in partnership with other companies. Artichoke Design plans to use this certification to help communities become less dependent on the automobile by becoming more pedestrian and bicycle friendly - by improving their sidewalks, streetscapes, and bike lane systems.
