I am excited about the opportunity to share my experiences, but also look forward to learning from the many talented executives scheduled to present. The conference will not disappoint with the primary goal of delivering relevant learning and recommendations that participants can put into action!
Livonia, MI (PRWEB) February 16, 2009
Qualigence will produce the first “How To” Conference for the Recruiting Industry -- the First Annual Recruitment Learning Conference. The conference is scheduled for April 14th and 15th, 2009 in Chicago, Illinois at the Marriott Hotel located in downtown Chicago on Michigan Avenue.
The purpose of the conference is to gather some of the best recruiting and talent acquisition leaders from worldwide organizations of various industries to share their best practices, processes, and strategies for how they conquered their most difficult challenges with measurable success. The speakers come from worldwide organizations including Cisco Systems, LexisNexis, CareerXroads, Nike, CDW, Towers Perrin, Capital One, and more.
Twelve (12) “how to” sessions will be led by twelve different leaders. Each topic is relevant to what recruiters and recruiting leaders are facing in today’s challenging recruiting environment. The objective is to provide attendees with the “how to” steps that can be referenced and implemented as soon as they return from this conference.
Recruiting is an industry that is changing for many reasons, not just due to the current condition of our economy. Baby boomers are retiring, hiring surges are being predicted, generational differences affect recruiting success, and despite all of the tools that technology has delivered, the best talent for a position remains difficult to find. These are just a few of today’s recruiting challenges.
The conference is being produced by Qualigence, a recruitment research firm that was founded by Stephen Lowisz in 1999. The President and CEO, Lowisz has 17 years experience in recruiting and has grown to be a respected leader in the industry. Although his organization provides a service that is utilized by several Fortune 500 organizations, Lowisz has developed a passion for educating others. He is included as a speaker and workshop facilitator at numerous recruiting conferences each year, is an author to several articles he shares with his clients and the media, and is in the process of completing his first book.
“Educating others is an important part of who I am. When I speak at conferences, my goal is for professionals to gain tangible information they can use. They want the ‘how to’ steps that they can exercise in their own jobs. So we decided to create an event to give people exactly what they want” states Lowisz.
“In the words of Albert Camus, you are forgiven for your happiness and your successes only if you generously consent to share them,” states speaker Dan Hanyzewski, Director of Talent Acquisition for Nike. “Those words resonate with me and reflect the unique experience this conference represents. I am truly exhilarated by being part of such an esteemed group of professionals and look forward to adding my contribution to what should be a very fulfilling agenda”.”
Another speaker, Melissa McMahon, Sr. Director of Talent Acquisition for CDW commented “I am excited about the opportunity to share my experiences, but also look forward to learning from the many talented executives scheduled to present. The conference will not disappoint with the primary goal of delivering relevant learning and recommendations that participants can put into action!”
Lowisz and Kim Schachinger, VP and Chief Marketing Officer, developed the “How To” concept where recruiting professionals can gain the steps, processes, skills, strategies and tools that they can utilize tomorrow for today’s recruiting challenges and obstacles.
“There is no doubt that participants will get what is being promised” comments Schachinger, “Each participant will leave the Recruitment Learning Conference with copies of every presentation, the “how to” steps associated with each session, and additional reference materials.”
Cost was taken into consideration in the event’s planning, as the economy has affected company budgets. The conference is only $895 per person and is discounted to $750 per person if registered by February 28. Session descriptions, speaker information and an online registration form can be found on http://www.qualigence.com.
