MAXxess Systems Inc. today announced the appointment of Bruce Gerbl to the position of Vice President of Sales. With more than 20 years of experience in security consulting and security systems, Gerbl is well known and respected in the security industry.
Gerbl most recently served as Channel Manager at Quantum Secure, a software company that manages security identities across disparate security systems. Prior to Quantum Secure, Gerbl served as global construction accounts manager at Johnson Controls. During his six-year tenure with Johnson Controls, Gerbl was responsible for business development, project management and security program consulting services.
Prior to Johnson Controls, Gerbl served as area sales manager for Sensormatic Electronics, a maker of electronic anti-theft tags and devices for retail applications. During his career with Sensormatic, Gerbl played a key role in growing critical vertical markets, including helping drive 300 percent growth in the government sector. Earlier, Gerbl had served as director of product marketing for Mosler, Inc, a maker of video surveillance systems.

This is the second significant addition that MAXxess has announced this month. Earlier the company announced that John Sayer of Johnson Controls had joined the company as European Technical Sales Manager.
