Roni Deutch and the Nation's Largest Tax Resolution Law Firm Settles Over $72.5 Million in Back Taxes for Their Clients in 2008

During a year where major banks collapsed, unemployment rates skyrocketed, and the country's economy slid into a deepening recession, Roni Deutch, A Professional Tax Corporation was able to provide IRS tax debt relief to clients collectively owing the IRS over $72.5 million.

North Highlands, CA (PRWEB) February 19, 2009 -- The Tax Lady Roni Deutch and her team of attorneys successfully negotiated settlements for clients collectively owing the IRS $72.5 million throughout last year.

"The group of clients were put on various IRS resolution programs, such as Offers in Compromise, Installment Agreements, and Currently Not Collectible status," notes The Tax Lady Roni Deutch. "Although each client's unique financial situation was different, they all had one thing in common - the inability to repay their current IRS tax liability in full. With that in mind, my team of experienced lawyers were able to aggressively negotiate with the IRS to provide the best settlement possible for each client."

Through the IRS Offer in Compromise Program, Ms. Deutch's team was able to negotiate settlements for clients owing the IRS over $13 million in aggregate. "On average, each client owed approximately $53,000 and obtained an average settlement amount of just over $4,700,*" explained Ms. Deutch. "Thus, our law firm was able to collectively save these clients over $11.8 million."

Utilizing another IRS settlement program, known as placement on Currently Not Collectible (CNC) status, the law firm successfully ended IRS collections against a group of taxpayers collectively owing $28.5 million in unpaid back taxes. These clients each owed the IRS just over $42,000 on average. They were unable to meet necessary living expenses, let alone make huge tax payments to the IRS. By getting these clients placed into CNC status, the IRS will no longer take action to collect the owed back taxes by these taxpayers unless their financial situations improve.

"Our law firm was able to save millions for our clients in 2008," notes managing attorney Justin Hein. "As this global recession continues, more and more families are struggling just to pay the rent and have enough money for groceries. To these families, the idea of coming up with a huge lump sum tax payment seems impossible."

"Fortunately, that's where we come in," continues Mr. Hein. "By negotiating with the IRS, we have been able to save our clients thousands of dollars and, more importantly, provide them peace of mind. Looking into 2009, we hope to be able to help even more families take control of their lives by resolving their back tax liabilities."
