The Youth Financial Literacy Movement is On the Rise -- With the Support of Celebrities, Sport Stars and the Action Sports World

Today's youth often enter the 'real world' unprepared for the financial challenges that await them. Unfortunately for many, this leads to a lifetime of debt and struggle. The Money XLive event is designed to combat financial illiteracy and gives high school and college-age youth an exciting way to pick up practical entrepreneurship and personal financial education lessons.

Money XLive (http://www.MoneyXLive.com) is taking place at the Grove of Anaheim on February 27th 2009 and brings together sport stars, celebrities and other entertainers to provide an inspirational personal financial education in a way that entertains and educates.

Wilmer Valderrama, Jessie Billauer, Cris Judd, Brian Sumner and John Salley will be appearing live at the event and Money XLive will feature video appearances by Chuck Liddell, Matt Leinart, Greg Lutzka, Travis Pastrana, Steve Astephen, Roy Powers, Kenny Bartram, Brian Deegan, Rick Johnson, Sunny Garcia and Christina Milian.

This personal financial education event is produced in an MTV award show style environment and includes live performances by Think and Kelley James, the dance crew Kaba Modern and DJ's. Money XLive and the National Youth Financial Educators Council's multi-media, financial literacy, course take a holistic approach to helping young adults hone their personal financial education skills necessary for them to succeed in life.

Money XLive inspires attendees to be financially responsible, encourages their upward mobility, motivates them to attend college and fuels their dedication to community service. Tickets to this event have been donated to over 25 nonprofit organizations that empower youth and attendance is expected to exceed one thousand. Nonprofit partners include: Junior Achievement, STANDUP for KIDS, the World Trust Foundation, Hip-Hop Summit Youth Council, Brockman Institute, AIGA Foundation and the Matt Leinart Foundation.

College Solution Providers is the presenting sponsor and other sponsors include: Wells Fargo, ForUs Magazine, Grins 2 Go, Ethika, Travel 4 Education, Nightlife Entertainment, Proper Knowledge, Surfline and Oakley.

The producers of Money XLive, Vince Shorb and Chad Penry of the National Youth Financial Educators Council, are dedicated to increasing youth financial literacy through personal financial education events that today's youth can relate to.
