Minnetonka, MN (PRWEB) February 24, 2009
According to http://www.iBlogMarketing.com, the printing industry will need to use the Internet to market its services and possibly enhance its current offerings to survive the economic recession. 1. Having a Website equal to or better than your competitors'
2. Assuring your Website is easily found on the first page of major search engines, like Google and Yahoo, for keywords your target market is likely to use to find the products and services your company offers. This is accomplished via search engine optimzation and search engine advertising.
Kris Pilling-Davis, Education Director for the Print Industry of Minnesota (PIM), believes that with the current economic situation, "It would be highly timely for the print industry to utilize Internet marketing and advertising. The Internet offers a variety of opportunities for printers to generate new business during these tough times."
PIM recently sponsored a half day seminar for its members titled "Internet Marketing for the Printing Industry". The seminar was held on February 17, 2009 and attracted numerous attendees representing different segments of the print industry. The seminar was lead by Lou Del Monte, President of TMA E-Marketing.
The conclusion to the series of posts, Part 3: Print Industry Internet Services, will offer further insight into how the printing industry can use Internet services to enhance its print offerings. It is scheduled to post March 9, 2009.
