It's a bit intimidating for this hillbilly from Indiana to be here at the Grammys amongst such talented performers. I'm a big fan of music in general but of course I'm mostly here to support my love which is country music.

Hollywood, California -- Last week in Los Angeles noted country recording artist, Doni Flanigan, was invited to join in on the revelry that is the Grammy Awards by attending the live broadcast that celebrates true excellence in the field of music. To everyone's delight, this year's ceremony featured more country music stars than ever before.
"Country music is surging and Doni Flanigan is at the forefront of this phenomenon of popularity," said Lavel Berry, president of Centurion Entertainment. "Doni Flanigan is truly an all American Cowboy and his new country album is launching just at the right time. It was great to see him interviewing on the red carpet and sitting amongst so many iconic music industry veterans."
Doni Flanigan represents a breed of country singer willing to lay it on the line for his love of music, life and family. He worked long and hard often out of state for months at a time to support his loving wife and five daughters, but never gave up his yearning to become a country music singer and songwriter. Doni Flanigan's first album American Cowboy which he wrote and produced along with award winning Nick Nolan, will surely leave an impression with country music fans everywhere.
"It's truly an honor and a privilege to be here tonight at the Grammy Awards, Doni Flanigan was overheard saying to a reporter from the Armed Services Network on the red carpet. "I believe in our soldiers who are laying down their lives for our country. I wrote my first single American Cowboy for our troops here in America and to those stationed abroad."
Flanigan told the television show Extra!, "It's a bit intimidating for this hillbilly from Indiana to be here at the Grammys amongst such talented performers. I'm a big fan of music in general but of course I'm mostly here to support my love which is country music."
Doni Flanigan had the same sentiment to share with a CMT Insider interviewer, "I love country music television and I'm glad to see y'all here. This is country's night to shine!"
From three seats away at the Grammy telecast, Doni Flanigan and his manager, Lavel Berry watched performances from some of the most influential artists in the music industry including Kenny Chesney, Jennifer Hudson, Sugarland, Paul McCartney, Coldplay, Justin Timberlake, Stevie Wonder, Alison Krauss and Robert Plant.
"I was thrilled to be at the Grammy's this year and to be surrounded by the talented artists that I have always admired. I could feel the excitement the second I stepped on the red carpet and it lasted all night. It was an unforgettable experience," said Flanigan.
After the broadcast, Doni Flanigan was taken to the Recording Academy's official Governor's Ball where he wined and dined with the many Grammy attendees and discussed numerous possibilities with some of the music industry's elite.
