Meeting people from all over the world on this Global Crossroad Reconstruction Project was incredible. The majority of our group was from U.S and U.K. This experience has exceeded all of my expectations. The people I have met will remain my friends. The experience we have, we will never ever forget.

Over 6000 volunteers have chosen to volunteer abroad with Global Crossroad since 2003. The company receives over 99% positive feedbacks from volunteers who have participated in one of many meaningful programs. The humanitarian trips abroad, where participants volunteer in orphanages, or teach English and travel to enjoy fascinating places, attracts many volunteers each year.
Global Crossroad has a proven track record of operating highly significant and very effective volunteer programs. In December 2004, when tsunami struck the coastal area of south-east Asia and destroyed lives and properties in scales unheard of before, Global Crossroad swiftly answered the calls of many victims. In Galle, Sri Lanka, Global Crossroad sent over 150 volunteers and built 26 homes for people who had been devastated by tsunami. In all, Global Crossroad help raised over $200,000 during a year the program was running.
Kealy Mead of Heas, UK, who travelled to Sri Lanka to help, said, "Meeting people from all over the world on this Global Crossroad Reconstruction Project was incredible. The majority of our group was from U.S and U.K. This experience has exceeded all of my expectations. The people I have met will remain my friends. The experience we have, we will never ever forget."
Through many Volunteer Africa and Volunteer Asia programs, Global Crossroad continues to support numerous grassroots project. In Nepal, Global Crossroad built, funded and currently runs orphanages in Nepal. Our volunteers have reconstructed many schools in India. In Tanzania, orphaned children can now sleep under the roof because of Global Crossroad's programs. Examples like this abound all over the world.
