The School was founded by his Bucs teammate and fellow FSU Alumni Derrick Brooks. Dunn will discuss his best selling book, "Running for My Life."

Tampa, FL (PRWEB) February 23, 2009 -- NFL and Tampa Bay Buccaneers All-Pro Running Back Warrick Dunn will speak with students and community members at Brooks-DeBartolo Collegiate High School (BDCHS), 11602 N. 15th Street Tampa, FL 33612. The event will be held Wednesday February 25, 2009 from 1:00 - 3:30 p.m.

This fundraising event includes a motivational address from Dunn sharing life-points from his best selling book, "Running for My Life," book signing, student-led school tours and a sponsorship reception. Media will have the opportunity to speak with Mr. Dunn following his remarks.

"Having Warrick join our Distinguished Speaker Series exposes our students to a person who says, 'I can and I will,' both on and off the field. The example Warrick Dunn sets in this community is so important for the kids and families we serve," said Tampa Bay Buccaneers linebacker Derrick Brooks. Brooks is a Founding Member and serves as President of the Governing Board of BDCHS.

Dunn is the second guest in the Distinguished Speaker Series organized by BDCHS supporters. The first was Retired General Tommy Franks, former commander in chief of U.S. Central Command in Tampa and the author of "American Soldier."
