It lets the machines work more, produce more and generate more revenue. A shop owner can bid on larger jobs, deliver faster and for less cost. Everyone wants to make more money, and Erowa Technology gives them the power to do that using their existing equipment.

Erowa Technology in Arlington Heights, Illinois has a new, "magic bullet" for struggling metal working shops. "Our precision workholding lets shops change workpieces on their machines in minutes," said Bob Byers, Vice President of Sales and Marketing, "the increase in cutting time is like adding a new machine at a fraction of the cost. With the release of the MTS + system Erowa is proving once again that we have our customer's best interests in mind."

A significant amount of time is wasted on any metal working machine, be it a milling machine, grinder or electrical discharge machine. Machine operators have to manually mount the piece of metal being worked on to the table surface - a procedure that has not changed since the American Civil War. Erowa's chucks and pallets form a system to rapidly set the workpiece on the table with incredible accuracy and repeatability. The MTS + system is an improvement over the original MTS product in several ways, including constructing it out of stainless steel, enabling the chucks to be mounted both on grinding and milling machines as well as EDM machines.

Chris Norman, Erowa Technology's Vice President of Engineering and Technical Services said, "Our trademarked system is very precise - accurate to .0001" (.002mm) or better repeatability. At the same time it is so much quicker than traditional systems. It not only improves the efficiency of a single machine, it lets you rapidly move a workpiece across all of your machines - milling, grinding or electrical discharge."

"This is exactly what shops need in today's financial climate," said Byers. "It lets the machines work more, produce more and generate more revenue. A shop owner can bid on larger jobs, deliver faster and for less cost. Everyone wants to make more money, and Erowa Technology gives them the power to do that using their existing equipment."

"Because our chuck and pallet systems are so accurate you can add an Erowa Robot Compact next to two of your machines and automatically feed workpieces to them both," added Norman. "You can add a whole new shift's worth of production to your machines, driving your operating costs very low."

"We hope every shop in America discovers the value of our equipment," continued Byers. "We genuinely believe that Erowa workholding can completely revitalize any shop, and since manufacturing means jobs it is the right product for these times."
