Internationally renowned Producer/Songwriter Vlad Tuyrin has just inked a distribution deal with Bungalo/Universal for US distribution of his label, NTMG (Nelson Tuyrin Music Group). The new venture marks a new undertaking in Tuyrin's exceptional musical career.
"This is an exciting time to begin this new undertaking," Tuyrin explains. "With so many songs by international artists climbing the charts, I'm excited to introduce Russia's Irene Nelson to the States."
Tuyrin will dedicate his talents to the signing, development and production of the label's artists, while a small staff will oversee the actual day-to-day business of the label. The debut release will be "Sunrise" by the gorgeous and multi-talented Irene Nelson, formerly the lead singer of Reflex. This marks Nelson's debut as a solo performer.
Tuyrin has made his mark as one of the most outstanding and distinguished composers and sound-producers in Russia. Creator and producer of one of Europe's hottest and biggest-selling acts, REFLEX, Tuyrin has written many songs for other performers and working closely with Paul Van Dyk on the album, the Reflex album and with The Bhangra Knights project.
For 4 years Reflex became the most outstanding dance project on the Russian pop-stage and winning an amazing amount of musical awards: 2004 Dvizhenie for best video ""Non Stop" (Movement); 2002 Golden Gramaphone for "Going Mad" Song of the Year (Song of the Year); 2002 Pesnya goda for "For the First Time" (Song of the Year/Debut of the Year); 2001 Ovation for Best Composer ("Going Mad") and 2000 Muzikalny Podium (Music Podium) award for the most fashionable achievements made in music to name a few.
"Sunrise," a mid-tempo homage to love and resurrection, was recorded in London at the George Martin's legendary Air Studio by Steve Orchard (U2, Coldplay, Peter Gabriel, Dido). The accompanying video was filmed in a 50-room castle in Sweden and Iceland boasts a scenic, jaw-dropping panorama and awe-inspiring special effects, is destined to become one of the most viewed in 2009.
The single is scheduled for a May 4th release, while the album will drop in June. A tour in support of the album is in the planning stages, and dates will be announced shortly.
