Millerbernd Launches Automation Division

Millerbernd Systems formerly Millerbernd Design and Fabrication announces expansion of its electrical engineering and automation services by launching Millerbernd Automation

Winsted, MN (PRWEB) February 25, 2009 -- In order to better serve their customers growing demands for cost savings through automation, Brad Millerbernd, president of Millerbernd Systems, announces expansion of its electrical engineering and automation services by launching Millerbernd Automation. "In the current economy, our customers are experiencing a greater need to increased productivity through automation and system integration," states Brad Millerbernd. "To address their needs and expand our market reach, we made the decision to leverage our existing core competencies and expertise and establish Millerbernd Automation."

Millerbernd Automation will be lead by Terry Voigt, vice president and David Kupka, director of electrical engineering. Voigt has 20 years of extensive experience working with leaders in the food and dairy industry throughout the United States. Kupka brings 30 years of process solutions and automation experience including 16 years with Scherping Systems where he launched their automation department in 1984; and most recently 9 years as electrical engineering manager for Advanced Process Technologies, Inc.

"Millerbernd Automation has the capabilities and talent pool that will allow us to make an immediate impact for our customers,'" said Kupka, one of the early pioneers of cheese vat automation and integrated total plant control. "It is exciting to be on the leading edge of the next generation of automation and system integration in the food and dairy industry."
