Neighborhood America announces it has been named a 2009 CODiE Award finalist for 'Best Social Networking Solution' by the Software & Information Industry Association (SIIA). The annual CODiE Awards are among the most esteemed in the software industry, honoring achievement and vision in software, digital information and education technology industries. This is evidenced by the 850 nominations submitted to the SIIA this year.
In a press release issued by the SIIA on Tuesday, President Ken Wasch described the competition. "The competition is particularly steep this year during the 24th Annual SIIA CODiE Awards, making selection as a CODiE Finalist a real achievement." Following the next round of voting by SIIA members, this year's winners will be announced during a gala event on May 5, 2009 at the Palace Hotel in San Francisco, California.
