Known for their extensive collection of fine food and wine, Fancifull didn't skimp when it came to whipping up Kosher Baskets. Kosher requests are fairly common explains Terry August, owner of Fancifull. "We have been integrating kosher in with our usual mix of gourmet for years now. I didn't realize how much we had until various customers came in and were impressed by our selection."

She was thrilled when she finally found artisan cheese that is kosher, Redwood Hill Farms Goat Cheese. "That was always a missing element for me with Kosher, finding good cheese, rather than just spreads, to include," says August. In addition to the cheese, one of her favorite items is the Chocolate Peanut Butter that she found years ago being made in a little shop in New York. It is hard to pick a favorite among the Kosher peanuts, olives, chocolates, cookies, potato chips and brownies that mingle with her mix of fine foods and gifts on the shelves of her shop on Melrose in Hollywood.

Of course there are also the requisite noisemakers and hamentaschen for the Purim festivities, often referred to as Jewish Mardi Gras, helping to unleash the joy this holiday occasions.
