Energetic Women, a group dedicated to their mission of "Increasing the Pool of Promotable Women in Energy Operations and Engineering," is gaining momentum on the national stage with great support for the group and the 2nd Annual Energetic Women Conference, June 16-18 in Scottsdale, AZ.

Energetic Women, a group dedicated to their mission of "Increasing the Pool of Promotable Women in Energy Operations and Engineering," is gaining momentum on the national stage with great support for the group and the 2nd Annual Energetic Women Conference, June 16-18 in Scottsdale, AZ.

"The results from the first Energetic Women National Conference and the ongoing internal groups formed after the conference have helped transform Duke Energy," explains Patty Walker, sr. vice president of gas operations, for Duke Energy in Cincinnati. "Energetic Women has helped our female employees connect with each other to further each person's success. Duke Energy is committed to getting the most out of our investment in our employees; the Energetic Women organization is helping us in a big way."

"Our services are focused on the emerging and experienced leader in the energy industry, and adding value to our organizations" says Stephanie Menning, vice president of gas services for Midwest ENERGY Association (MEA). " Our conference keynote, Rayona Sharpnack of the Institute for Women's Leadership, will be teaching us how let go of our old ideas and assumptions about ourselves and create new powerful beliefs."

Energetic Women is a new group whose mission is to increase the pool of promotable women in Energy Operations and Engineering. They encourage leadership growth and development, through mentorship and supportive programs. Energetic Women is a service of MEA.
