Phoenix, AZ (PRWEB) March 2, 2009
Modavox, Inc. (OTCBB:MDVX - News), Internet broadcasting pioneer, producing and syndicating online audio and video, today announced that Sharon Meers, co-author of "Getting to 50/50," will join Dr. Terri Orbuch, host of The Love Doctor radio program on VoiceAmerica (http://www.modavox.com/voiceamerica) Monday, March 9, at 11 a.m. Eastern.
Sharon Meers is a former Managing Director of Goldman Sacks. Sharon and her husband Steve founded the Partnership for Parity at the Stanford Graduate School of Business School which supports Stanford's ongoing work on workplace parity and a similar effort at Harvard University called the Dual-Career Initiative.
In the new book, "Getting to 50/50: How Working Couples Can Have It All By Sharing It All," Sharon Meers and Joanna Strober, two highly successful working moms, have written an action plan for couples based on the simple belief that in order to achieve a successful work-life balance, moms and dads must be equal at home. Meers and Strober go beyond an analysis of the problem to offer a blueprint on how to successfully work with your husband, your boss, and yourself to fully embrace a 50/50 solution and tackle the conflicting priorities of child care, job demands, and home life responsibilities. They are two working moms who believe that everyone wins when men are full parents and women have full careers.
