Small Businesses 'Simply Deposit' Checks at the Speed of Light from the Office PC

On-Line Credit Card Services, Inc., now offers a free trial for small-business instant processing of paper checks for immediate deposit through the Simply Deposit scanning system. The reasonably priced system was developed by RDM Corp., a pioneer of similar systems for banks and the U.S. Treasury. But this system is compatible with any bank, or "bank agnostic." Sturbridge, Mass.-based Online Credit Card Services, Inc. (http://www.onlinecreditcard.com) also provides credit card processing on the web and from remote locations, including hardware, customer service and training.

Small businesses can now enjoy the same type of instant, paperless check processing as major banks through technology distributed by On-Line Credit Card Services, an electronic payments services company.

On-Line Credit Card has teamed with RDM Corp. of Waterloo, Ontario offer Simply Deposit™, RDM's image and transaction management system for electronic check conversion.

"The system helps clear checks quickly and improves cash flow," said Michael W. Young, president of On-Line Credit Card Services (http://www.onlinecreditcard.com). "A check reader transmits automatically to your checking account, eliminating trips to the bank with paper checks and making funds immediately available."

"This is the same electronic processing as banks themselves have, remote processing on your work site," Young said. "A few banks offer something similar to customers, but the great thing about Simply Deposit™ you are not restricted - you can use it at any bank."

On-Line Credit Card Services will be kicking off the introductions of the RDM products and services by offering a 90-day free trial of the Simply Deposit ™ product. Simply Deposit was developed specifically for small business. Shortly after the initial kickoff, On-Line will expand the offering of the Image and Transaction Management System (ITMS) suite to businesses that need to clear very high volumes of checks.

"RDM is really the developer of this technology," Young said. "They originally developed electronic check-clearing for the U.S. Treasury."

"We look forward to assisting an industry leader like On-Line Credit Card Services in servicing their existing customers as well as in securing new business with our industry-leading products," said John Mamalakis, vice president of sales, RDM Corp. "RDM is uniquely positioned to be able to provide an end-to-end check electronification platform as we can provide both the hardware and software required."
