Vantage Strategy, a business strategy firm based in Maryland, announced today the signing of a web development contract with Mystic Country, a tourist destination along the eastern shore of Connecticut. The new website will be designed to give travelers a whole new image of Mystic Country and all it offers with cutting edge technology that makes travel planning more comprehensive and user friendly. The website deal is the culmination of a 3 month contract during which the firm provided an in-depth analysis and strategic marketing plan for the destination.

The main focus of the enhanced site will be to introduce visitors to a new image of Mystic Country and its member organizations with comprehensive user friendly itinerary planning tools. "Our goal is to use the website to reposition Mystic Country as the gateway to the New England coastline and countryside and the many treasures the region offers," said Vantage CEO, Mike Pusateri. "There is an extraordinary amount to do in this region: from spending a quiet day at the beach to touring the many historic sites and vineyards in the area, to indulging in a top tier concert and gaming at one of the country's largest casinos. The new web presence will give travelers the opportunity to easily customize a trip itinerary for any number of interests."
Chris Jennings, President of the Mystic Coast & Country Travel Industry Association emphasized how important it is to be able to reach out to travelers through the internet before they ever leave home. "Our intention is to give visitors the information and tools they need to plan a customized itinerary according to their personal tastes and interests," he said. "Vantage Strategy's technology team is working closely with us to achieve that goal."
