ISG-Telecom (http://www.isg-telecom.com) is pleased to announce the release of its new website. The new site has been redesigned with a fresh new look and has been updated with information about some new types of consulting services. One of the ISG partners, Digital ISP Group, Inc dba Husker Access of Lincoln, Nebraska (a VoIP carrier, ISP, web design and new CLEC) was responsible for the new clean design. Since opening in late 2004 as a DSL & VoIP ISP, services have grown with the merger in March 2007 of a web development firm that brought 9 years of site development and hosting experience to the company. The design team was lead by Mr. Craig Kibbe here in the USA. "We firmly believe in utilizing the talented resources here in the USA as often as feasible", says Bill Mills, IT director for ISG.
ISG will deploy a new consulting service in 2009 called "Broadband Initiatives" which will tie into the recently signed landmark American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA) by President Barrack Obama, which allocates an additional $7Billion for bringing broadband to rural America. "The fact that President Obama considers high-speed Internet access "infrastructure" is a breakthrough", says Joseph Isaacs, President of ISG. "Under the Bush administration, broadband service was treated as a luxury. "The Obama-backed stimulus package, in contrast, treats convergent Internet communications as an essential service, just like our highways. Having these federal funding (grants and low cost loans) available to existing CLEC and new entrants will help foster the creation of new jobs while bringing essential services to the heartland of America", he adds.
ISG-Telecom has been serving the telecommunications industry since 1996 by providing legal and telecom consulting in the areas of State and FCC certifications, complex contract negotiations, ILEC interfacing and back-office/ billing systems for new Competitive Local Exchange Carriers (CLEC's), Voice over Internet Protocol Carriers (VoIP), Inter-Exchange Carriers (IXC's), cable companies and other utilities.
