CodePartners, a software development firm, is pleased to announce their selection by an online education platform provider in China to develop portions of their Web portal.

"The project we will deliver enables university students to register for and attend courses via a live feed on the Internet," said Mr. Bin Feng, president of CodePartners. "Additionally, we will work with the China Industrial and Commercial Bank to create an area where students can pay online for their courses." An easy-to-use back-end administration database will enable Web site content management and course roster management. The project will involve developers from CodePartners' Beijing and Yinchuan offices.

The process will begin with a business design document that outlines the structure and workflow of the Web site as well as the graphic elements to be included. Following approval from the customer, development work will begin with a beta delivery date of April 15, 2009. A variety of technologies will be used to develop the portal including ASP.Net for front-end Web pages, C# for the business logic layer development, and MS SQL Server 2005 for the database.

"We are excited to be part of this initiative," said Bin. "It is fascinating to see the adaptation of technology in a university environment. The portal will enable the university to focus on providing exceptional learning opportunities for the students."
