With the current economic pressures, employees are looking for lower cost project software to increase efficiency. In January, 2009, the Project Management Institute reviewed Project KickStart.

In the difficult business environment, many companies are seeking ways to be more efficient, so it's an appropriate time to add project management software to your organization. The Project Management Institute (PMI), the world's leading association for the project management profession, recently recognized ProjectKickstart. Project KickStart Pro appeared in PMI's recent "Product Round Up."

According to Kevin Ahlvin, VP, Sales & Marketing at Experience in Software, "It's great to be recognized by the largest project management organization, Project Management Institute, as an important software project vendor. We're not, however, totally surprised by the attention because we're seeing recently a lot of interest in our moderately priced desktop project management software. I think many businesses are looking for a fully functional, moderately priced, one time purchase project management software, especially in this cost-conscious economic environment."

In Project Management Institute's "Product Round Up" for January, 2009. PMI highlighted the following Project KickStart features:

  • Dependent Task Linking: link dependent tasks and watch your project update automatically when a task is delayed or finished ahead of schedule.
  • Project Wizard: provides a planning wizard to help users create project plans.
  • Generating PowerPoint Presentations: after you've created your project and want to present it to the team, Project KickStart has an easy export to PowerPoint to instantly create a professional presentation.
  • Exporting Data: export project data to Microsoft Project, Outlook, Word, Excel, ACT! and other applications.

Roy Nierenberg, President of Experience in Software, says "throughout our 25 years in business, we've used the same winning formula of listening to customers, and being judicious about what new features are implemented. Giving free support and creating a sense of community let's customers know that we care and are here to help."
