Razoo Celebrates Philanthropy with March Goodness Contest

Non-profits Can Use New Fundraising Tools to Leverage Support and Win Big

Washington, D.C. (PRWEB) March 5, 2009 -- At 3pm on March 3rd, 2009, Razoo launched the $16,500 March Goodness Contest to celebrate its new online donation and fundraising platform. The non-profit organization that gathers the most donor supporters on Razoo's giving platform in the month of March will win a $10,000 grant, with additional awards of $3,000, $2,000, $1,000, and $500. Non-profit organizations will have the opportunity to try out the new online fundraising tools of Razoo.com, while empowering their supporters to create personalized fundraising campaigns. The individual creators of the three most successful Fundraising Pages will win iPod prizes.

J. Sebastian Traeger, Razoo's CEO, shared how the March Goodness Contest and Razoo.com are working to empower both non-profits and donors: "Philanthropy is taking a hit during these hard economic times, so we are working to create tools for individuals to contribute more effectively to worthwhile social projects and to help non-profits raise the support they need. We hope the March Goodness Contest and the benefits of Razoo will provide the extra inspiration to inspire people to contribute to the greater good."

Razoo.com is a donation platform that aims to increase investment in philanthropy by facilitating more effective online donations and fundraising. Razoo provides a variety of fundraising tools to non-profits and their supporters, free of charge, in order to meet this goal. For example, individuals can create personalized Fundraising Pages for their favorite non-profits, using photos, videos, and personal accounts to reach out and raise funds among their networks. Razoo also eliminates the typical online transaction fees for online donations charged by other donation processors as part of its corporate contribution to philanthropy.
